In some cases the portion above the buried IJ is also coated till the point it comes aboveground. Please provide me with suggestion / recommendations regarding the same.

 

For some IJs we have started exposing the IJs and keeping it exposed in a chamber & filling it with sand. Is this a viable solution? Please advise
