Yes Impact testing of HAZ will be as per Code...Code does not ask it process wise

Impact Test of Welds you can go with as per Code as well as Process wise.

Question: HAZ impact specimen suppose has to be taken based on UG84.6, definitely GTAW process is difficult to cover.

Do we have to take impact for each process or just follow UG84.6 table?

Simply means, Impact test specimen will take for PQR/ PTC as per ASME VIII. Is based on thickness or process?
