E71T-5C is basic type flux cored wire and provides an impact requirement of 27 J at -30 deg. C.
and suits well for SA 516 Gr. 70 base.
It also gives 100% x-ray quality welds and better than E71T-1C (rutile) for all thicknesses.
The rutile version is good up to 20 thick only.
