-- The photo attached herein showing the wire for screening meshes,we are facing the problem of cracking of wire after the crimping (a process which is to make meshes from wire).
Can anybody suggest any test method to determine the reason of cracking ?
Is it have any ASTM methods are available ?
The standard for producing the meshes are the following
BS 7372:Part 3 /ISO 4783-3 - Choice of aperture size and wire diameter combinations for industrial wire screens and woven wire cloth.
DIN 1SO 14315 - Industrial wire screens technical requirement and testing.
The chemical and mechanical properties are conform to DIN 17223 Part 1 class A.
