[MW:5353] PWHT requirement as per EN 13480

Hello All,

In EN 13480, part 4, PWHT requirement for all material group is defined as per Table 9.14.1-1  & 9.141-2.
As per this table there is no minimum thickness requirement defined for PWHT requirement. In these table PWHT parameters, ie. Temprature & Holding time , are defined for Controlling thickness above 0 mm.

( unlike, ASME B31.3 ,where we need to have a PWHT for carbon steel material above 19 mm & for CrMo steel with thickness 13 mm & above ).

But in related para. 9.14.1,  NOTE -1 states that, PWHT may be required on steels with lower thickness than specified in these table.

Can anybody explain me where , in EN 13480,   I can find the minimum thickness of a particular material which does not require PWHT ?

Kind regards

Rahul
