recently we have done the Hot-tap for our project, the hot tap crew & their safety team will assess the area, condition of the site, as well as your emergency contingency plan based on the risk assessment.
you need to have basically following in your hand.
1) Hot-Tap package (hot-tap procedure, welding procedure, hot-tap calculation, UT reading, ISO, P&ID, MTO etc).
2) Emergency contingency plan.
3) Split tee hydro test reports.
4) Spool hydro test report. etc.

We are planning to do  hot tapping of LPG pipe lines with wall thcikness of 9 mm.  Does any body have experience with the same, please share.  We have qualified the procedure, but  there are apprenhensions regarding safety in hot tapping of LPG pipe lines
