yes ,this is required to make ኒ 'U' groove (with No Root gap) preparation for welding of Piping joints by ORBITAL Welding. because the lip or land thickness(1 to 2mm) of ኒ 'U' groove (with No Root gap) preparation will produce the consistant penetration of weld. and the Orbital Welding M/C head will control the Amps, Volts, Speed, with respect to the position of weld.
