[MW:35719] Regarding requalification of Procedure qualification required or not for when welding FCAW filler wire brand name change
We have having WPS with impact test at -29 Deg.c for FCAW process. as per ASME SEC-IX. As per engineering requirement Impact test required at -29Deg.c.
Now new filler wire brought having same SFA NO but different brand name from same manufacturer. Mechanical properties were same. Impact test carried out at -40 Deg.c as per MTC.
We need to qualify new PQR or Proceed with existing PQR.
