You have not mentioned the thicknesses and application for the job. However based on general requirements the following
filler wires are recommended.
1. For joining EN19 to EN19 (UTS ≥ 850 MPa) you can use E100T5-K3 for critical welds and for good strength and toughness.
Pre-heating at 150–250°C to avoid cracks during welding and an interpass temp. of 250 deg.C is recommended.
Alternatively, you can use E110T5-K4M for critical and if high strength is required. PWHT at 600–650°C for 1–2 hours (depending
upon the thickness) for EN19 is optional.
2. For joining EN19 to MS you can use E71T1-1C/M for dissimilar joints; tough and ductile materials.
Pre-heating to EN19 at 150–200°C to avoid cracks during welding and an interpass temp. of 200 deg.C is recommended.
Alternatively, you can use E81T1-Ni1M/C for critical welds to balance strength and toughness.
You can use 100% for a CO₂ deeper penetration or 80Ar + 20% CO₂ for a spatter free and better arc stability. For a higher
thickness use multi-pass technique and avoid sharp notches and high restraint joints. Avoid high hardenability wires unless
post-weld heat treatment (PWHT) is applied, or cracking risk increases.
