Dear Mr. Ponnni

If the Filler Metals are provides as per ASME SEC II C then the Test Certificate shall be as per ASME SEC II C requirement of SFA-5.01M/SFA-5.01. No other tests are required as per ASME while receiving the consumables.

Generally for Corrosion Resistant Materials, Clients specify PMI testing of materials at least for a single item in a lot. This is based on the client requirements.

My query is any requirements by code for filler wire button test for all filler and electrode and why it required ?
