[MW:31919] Filler selection for ASTM A537 Cl2 welding

Dear Experts,

Kindly suggest a solution on case:

We need to make PQR of below joints and supplier is proposing a electrode mention below with reference to cost impact. Is it acceptable or not?

Welding joint 1 : A 537 Cl2 to A537 Cl2

Proposers electrode from supplier is E9018-M instead of E8018-G. Electrode E9018-M cost is lower than E8018-G as per supplier feedback.

Welding joint 2 : A537Cl2 to P355NH

Proposed electrode is E7018.

Impact requirement of both joint is -20 degree 32 Joule minimum and 40 Average.

Regards,
Jignesh
