RE: [MW:31386] E-7018-1 is better then E7018

Consider it to be a premium subset of the E7018.  Basically same properties but with chemistry optimized to achieve low temperature impact properties.  It is generally acceptable to use E7018-1 in lieu of E7018 unless customer has specific requirements regarding qualification.

Code is fun. Enjoy.

Better performance in low temperature. Same A and F-no

Dear All,

Hope you are fine.

i want discuss that i was gone yesterday for inspection in other company as a third party, i checked WPS for welding inspection, during inspection i observed that welder used E7018-1 Electrode instead of E7018 on structure. structure material A572 Grade-B and A-36. E7018-1 can problem or not?

can any one tell me about this problem.
