One of my PTC of Dished end of long seam Failed in UTS by 478.09 mpa against the minimum requirement of 485 mpa .whether it can be acceptable or not?
Material : SA 515 Gr 70
code of construction : IS 2825 / ASME Sec VIII
Thickness : 25 mm
Please guide me . ASAP

Kindly tell requirement of 10 PTC for a single vessel of same MOC has come from Client spec or code.
As per ASME SEC VIII DIV 1 one Ptc can represent complete vessel irrespective of change in thickness.
