with considering of chemical composition & strength of it , material must be Quench& tempered.
if the type of micro structure after welding isn't important.the preheat of welding should be 200-250,
minimum H.I& maximum pass numbers are used to previous passes tempered by next pass.

 UTS 845/855 Mpa,
 T.S. - 990/1000Mpa
 Chemical Comp. - 0.35C, 0.65Mn, 0.20Si, 0.95Cr., 0.18Mo
 
Can anybody advise suitable consumable for this application
