[MW:1390] Re: TIG Welding Procedure Specification for 316L Stainless Steel

Hi
As A Number, P Number is different, we cannot use MS procedure for SS. But for Welder Performance, We can use the welder qualified in MS GTAW, for welding SS GTAW only.
F no. for the both are common.

Thanks and Regards,

Hi

Can anyone advise me if the TIG Welding Procedure Specification used for mild steel can also be used for 316L Stainless Steel of 25mm – 200mm Nominal Bore to ASME IX?

I appreciate your feedbacks,

Thanks you
