[MW:1411] Re: Comparison of Vacpack electrode

Dear Mohd. Ibrahim ,

Yes Vac. packaging of electrode is cheaper than using baking and holding system.

Care to be taken :

1> During rainy season packaging shall be done in dehumid area.
2> Electrodes after packed @ 20 pieces in a pack , shall be stacked in a rack to a limit of 10 one above the other.
3> During handling take care that no jerk is given to that packet else inside packet the flux of electrode will be damaged and will be known only when packet is open by welder.
4> On top of packet , identification can be done by permanent marker OR by readymade self adhesive stickers.

With Best Regards

Subject: [MW:1410] Comparison of Vacpack electrode

Dear Friends,

Anybody having experience in vac pack electrode (E7018-1) usage in your company. Is it economical comparing to normal non vac packed electrode (with baking and holding)?

When using vaccum packed electrode any body faced any quality problems? If yes, how controlled it?

Please share the advantages and dis advantages that you really faced.

Thanks & Regards
Muhammed Ibrahim PK
