Dear sir/Experts
It is observed Excess Hardness in NACE PIPIE WELDING at HAZ & Weld after PWHT (i.e. Matl. SA106/B,2"NB Sch40 NACE-Full TIG)even though follow-up proper preheating parameters.
Its happen 2-3 times so I prepared new test piece and welded it in same pre-heating parameters and after final welding and prior to PWHT Hardness checked and observed less than NACE Requirement (i.e. 200BHN/Acceptable. My main problem is I have to follow NACE Requiremnt (i.e.Hardness with PWHT) but my another problem is as referred above.
IS it will create any problem if avoid PWHT in Same size/Line(i.e.NACE Line-2"NB ) If yes or no Pl be explain with documentary evidence.
Sincerely Requested to advise.
Regards,
RK Vichare
