I want to know the effect of Si in inconel cladding. As per ASME SEC 2C SFA 5.28(ENiCrFe-3) It is restricted up to 1%.
what is the detrimental effect of Si in cladding property ? if it is grater than 1%.
it is appreciated if supported by research paper or findings.
