RE: [MW:5365] ask for chemical composition sa-105

SA-105 (A-105)  references two general specification documents;  SA-788 and SA961.  Both of these referenced documents have the following requirement:  “An analysis of each heat of steel shall be made by the steel producer to determine the percentages of those elements specified in the product specification”  (paragraphs 8.1.1 and 8.2 respectively).  Therefore, the CMTR for any SA-105 (A-105) product must have a chemical analysis that includes the residual/tramp elements listed in SA-105 (Cr, Ni, etc.).

Dear Peyman,

these elements shall ( must) be mentioned in the material test certificate, even if they are of zero% content,
if they are not mentioned in the MTC, SO, This material is rejected.

Dear Peyman,

The sum of Ni,Cr,Mo,Cu,and Vanadium should not exceed 1.00% . So to calculate this these details needed.

Thanks.
