I need to qualify a PQR for SA 335 Gr P9 pipe welding. We have plate SA 387 Gr 9.
But I don't find P number allocated for SA387 Gr 9, and UNS number is matching. Can we consider the P number as 5B?
Someone may object that it is unlisted material??
Please advise and share your thoughts on this why this particular plate grade is not listed in p number table.
