Dear Sirs
Kindly be informed our specification mandates PWHT on H2S piping classes regardless its material type except on socket weld up to 8mm (wall thickness). my question is what is meant by wall thickness? is it base metal thickness of throat thickness? as you know it'll be differed because thickness of fitting is higher than piping thickness in same schedule.
Kindly clarify the meaning and support us with strong evidence if found.
Regards,
M.Kamel
