Dear All,

Carbon steel(SA516-70) to Aluminum welding is possible to weld together. If possible then which filler used for GTAW process.

Dear Expert
We are facing crack problem in HAZ during GTAW welding of
Aluminium AA5052 vs. AA 5052, Temper –H34
Shielding gas- Argon
10mm thickness plate,
Single V butt joint
Filler Material AA4043-H18.
Edge Preparation: Included Angle 70 degree, root gap. 1.2 mm.
We are making WPS/PQR as per the AWS D1.2. Please advice welding parameter need to be change to get Bend and tensile result as per requirement for procedure Qualification.

Thanks
