[MW:11904] P91 Weld - Ni and (Ms - Mf) temperature correlation

Dear All,

What is the effect of Ni (Nickel) in Ms (Martensite start) and Mf (Martensite finish) temperature in ASTM A 335 P91 welding?I have searched a lot for the last couple of weeks and found some literature.But none of them describes this phenomena in depth.

Could you please provide a graph which shows Nickel percentage and it's effect in the Ms and Mf temperature in ASTM A 335 P91 weld?

Hi,  You are correct, Minimum refers to the one cycle for which this part will expose until final work shop PWHT. hence mill test certificate shall include this.  Max. SPWHT, refers to additional cycles of heat treatment that are reserved for future repairs during equipment lifetime.  Again, these simulated no.
