[MW:3713] qualification of cladding

Hi All
I have a CK45(a shaft) that want to claded with duplex.now my contractor suggest a proposal wps(according ASME IX) that chemical composition not mentioned in it.
PQR is carried out on plate with duplex filler metal(process is GMAW).according to change A-number is essential,is it require chemical composition test(qw404-37&404-5c) or not(according QW-453 note 9).
