Dears,--My company having a job in 2-month schedule and it is having 40% underground piping. As per ASME B31.3, these piping shall be hydro tested before painting & backfilling as per 345.3.1But as per the weather condition here, the rain will start by next month and it will affect the schedule. We have to backfill before the rainy season and we cannot complete the connecting above ground piping job before the rain. We are planning to do hydro test after complete all AG & UG welding. So is there any possibility to change the hydro test after backfilling same as B 31.4/ API 1104.Please give the positive reply, as I know there are many negative answers to this issue.Regards,
Mohamed Suhail.
