Re: [MW:31420] Radiography (RT-3)

ASME BPVC Section VIII Div. 1 requirements do not apply to tanks. Tanks are covered by API codes (650, 620).
In case you have a pressure vessel and RT 3 is required you have to perform spot radiography in all Category A & D butt welds (see fig. UW-3) of type 1 & 2 (see UW-12).
Then you have to perform also spot RT in Category B and C butt welds when they intersect Category A welds.

Hope all member will be fine,
I have a many question about RT,
1. What we can use RT level on Tank?
2. Reference of RT level in ASME Section VIII Div-I ? or any other reference standard (API/ASME) except Section V. 
3. If tank design by API Standard, can we use ASME VIII Div-I reference for RT?
4. If weld length of but weld joint is 32 mtr, as per RT-3, how much 6" film are required as per code.  

Please guide me in short and proper words that we can under stand.
