[MW:19608] Understanding about PWHT (agree or not)

Dear experts

1. The solid alloy pipe materials (625/825) or carbon steel materials with cladding of inconel alloy materials 625/825 are not subjected to any PWNT

2. Moreover the hardness achieved for cladding is also less than the maximum permitted by the NACE standard.

3. For cladded pipes PWHT is applicable only for the girth welds of base metal (carbon steel) when it is required as per the ASME B31.3 (i.e. if the thickness is 20mm and above). PWHT is not required for overlay welding of alloy 625/825. In this project there is no such girth weld requiring PWHT.
