I have read in a report that The ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code,
Section VIII, Div. 2, allows secondary thermal stress to reach up to
twice the yield stress of welded material.
Can anyone please help me where I have to look for this in Section VIII, Div.2?
I really need this help.
