The actual tensile strength of the said material is 45 ksi .Welding operation with high heat input will significantly reduce the tensile strength of this aluminium alloy.
I would suggest you that you first consider the application of this plate as to where it has to be used, how much strength would be required in those specific conditions and then you must qualify the welding procedure with 4043. A PQR is a must before you weld.
