using 10mm strip will be as good as using FCAW technique (even you will have more wide width in a single pass using FCAW). Can you explain why you are looking for this option.... you can make FCAW mechanise which can solve your problem of productivity or quality..... I have used 30mm strip and that is readily available in market. You can keep 400-600 Amps based on your requirement of fusion and dilution and type of equipment you use.
