[MW:715] RE: 703] Should Thin Wall bellows to be tested...?

Can you please provide sketch of exchanger and design condition for the exchanger you have mentioned in your below mail.

Bellow is failing under shell side hydrotest pressure or tubeside hydrotest pressure?

Best regards,

Subject: [MW:703] Should Thin Wall bellows to be tested...?

Hi everybody...

I have some problem in my design...

I was doing a Mechanical Dseign for a AES (TEMA type, single pass Heat Exchanger), where im supposed to design a Thin Wall Bellow on its Tube side.

The Design was  carried out for the Design pressure and it was satisfactory...

The Problem is.. i was askeed by the client to producee calculations for Hydro test condition and my design fails in that condition.. My question is DO I HAVE TO CONSIDER THE TEST PR During my design?

anyone please clarify...
