[MW:35813] Regarding welder test

Kindly provide your valuable views for the below query.

Regarding the interview question: "How does a QC engineer select pipe diameter, thickness, and material for conducting a Welder Qualification Test (WQT) in a new project, assuming no QC Manager is available and without verbal consultation with the client?"

QC answered as "he will clarify Min. dia. Max. thk. and the type of material as per project scope and P.O, but interviewer not satisfied to his answer "

Please provide correct suggestions and reference of documents.

Dear Experts,  Can anyone share the inspection requirements or a qualification procedure for cold bending? Our client spec states only the requirements for induction bending and would like to know your opinion on the cold bend inspection requirements.
