For welding CR210 rail steel to S355JR, you can use E 8018-C3, a low hydrogen electrode.
Pre-heat the joint (CR210) to 250-350 °C and maintain a max. interpass temp of 300 °C.
Optionally, use E312-16 (high alloy Cr–Ni electrode) for buttering the rail steel and complete
with E 309L for a ductile joint.
