Firstly QW 407.4 has been deleted from ASME Sex IX
I am sure you ment to say QW 407.2 as per edition 2023
Answer to your question is NO
PQR time should be at least 600 minutes
You will have to qualify new procedure.

Dear Sirs,--I have an urgent inquiry. We have a PQR qualified for P No.1, Gr.1 to 2, 45mm thk, PWHTd and Impact tested at -66 Deg C, where the holding temperature is 625 ± 25 Deg C, holding time is 450 Minutes. It was an old PQR and I do not know the reason for such a long holding time kept during that time , as I am new to this company. We have used this PQR for the fabrication of a vessel, P No.1 Gr.1 & 2, design code is ASME Sec VIII Div-1, PWHT exists and Impact test is -29 Deg C.But during heat treatment, the holding temperature is 640 Deg C, but the holding time is 750 Minutes, done by the PWHT subcontractor, even though we informed to keep holding time as 450 minutes with reference to the PQR.As per ASME Sec IX, QW-407.4, especially this 750 minutes holding time still acceptable ?We need to justify the client, if they ask to clarify. Please advice.Regards,Saravanan Sornam,S.Korea.
