Is it an option to only use a spot GTAW weld for fixture of the thread
Or seal it with Loctite
To prevent shrinkage during welding, very low heat input process like laser welding can be an option

Onderwerp: [MW:34520] I request for your expert advice
Dear Experts,
-- I am writing this for you to give me some advice/suggestions.
We are facing a severe issue in welding the Body-end connector joint in our small-size (0.75" 800#) 2-piece Ball Valves Lever Operated SW ends (MOC 316 with PTFE seat ring). Since our client wants us to seal weld the Body-End connector joint, after assembly and final testing prior to despatch.
We find that after welding, in TIG, the valve becomes very difficult to operate.
I request the experts in this group to suggest a suitable method to weld the joint.
Best Regards.
