If joint welding of SS+ CS with 32mm thickness - as per ASME sec VIII div 1 for p no :1 PWHT is mandatory.
> if you preheated the CS side as per code? if the HAZ hardness on CS plate is within the base metal range, you can avoid PWHT process if end customer is accepting  this condition
