--Pigging is a very special process. You need to talk to the companies specialized in this discipline. TDW specializes in this area. You may contact them, for specific services in Bangladesh, if they provide so. I know they've a big presence in India. This presentation discusses with some interesting issues, related to pigging .

Dear Experts,
Hope everyone is doing great.
In a cross-country gas pipeline project over a bridge deck we have almost completed ou welding activities and right now we are facing problem in selection of Pigs for that pipeline. For your information, the pipeline is about approximately 6 Km in length consisting of 14 nos U-loop and 06 Nos W-loop and 01 nos inlet and 01 nos outlet loops. Outer Dia of Pipeline is about 762 mm with a wall thickness of 25.4 mm.
The elbows in the loops are 1.5D 90 Degree LR BW elbows.
The entire pipeline has some pipe miter joints included but the angle of miter falls between the range of 2.5 Degree to 5 Degree.
The normal pigs we use for our cross-country pipeline having 3D & 5D Bends are not suitable here.
As I have limited knowledge on pigging, hope some expert comment can help me to select the appropriate pig and finalize procurement for my project in Bangladesh.
