6013 is having Hydrogen level of >15<30PPM and if it is used in higher and multi-layer welding, there is lot of change for HICC, so it is restricted for thickness below 13mm

E 6013 electrode was primarily designed to provide good wetting and shallow penetration for thin sheet metal applications and E7018 provides medium penetration
