[MW:19598] Effect of grinding on ferrite content in urea service

Dear all

I would like to know what is effect on ferrite due to grinding. I have heard and also practically observed it that grinding tends to increase the ferrite content. Also its not permitted on job. But I dont have any references. Kindly share your experience if any.

Base metal- SA 240 type 310
Filler metal - 25.22.2 LMn
Process - GTAW
Thickness - 5mm
