Dear,
Normalizing of steels is used mainly to:
- Balance structure and reduce grain size (as a post–heat treatment method);
- Improve machinability and impact toughness of steel–casts;
- Remove macrostructure created by irregular forming and slab;to soften, give uniform microstructure
- Remove macrostucture created by welding;
- Equalize quality and impact toughness after hot forming.
So I don't think that it is big issue in normal circumstances.Based on code, others comments expected...
