Dear Friends, ASME B31.3 - Piping code PWHT is specified for CS piping irrespective fluid service ,but  for nomimal thickness 3/4" or 19.05mm above . PWHT pertaining ot steam generation , ASME B31.1 may be referred. With respect to your question PWHT for D fluid service above 20mm , I do not expect any piping with 20mm thickness as normally D Fluid service will be 150 class piping. Pl check the thickness involved in D Fluid service. For NACE piping it is not mandatroy that all thickness  PWHT is required as per code ,but you are required to follow Project speciciations of client. Francis Lobo.
