This is common problem while we are going for the welding with
Inconel.

Cracking Phenomenon: As you have buttered the surface with
ENiCrMo-3( Inconel-625), which is having high yield point, While
ENiCrFe-3 is having low yield point and commonly cracks from
centerline while solidification takes place. The bead shape should be
convex in nature.Flat and concave bead in inconel is crack.
In future you can butter with ENiCr-3 or ENiCrFe-3 and butt weld with
ENiCrMo-3. Actually Mo adds the more resistance to yielding. Instead
of V you can chage the joint configuration to U type.
