You can calculate by using following formula:-

 

Heat Input = (V*I*60)/(Travel Speed in mm) this will come in J for KJ please further devide it with 1000.

 

For the below value the Heat Input shall be

0.50 KJ.

how to calculate the heat input in KJ/mm if i have got the folowing parameters?
 
Amperage=71
Voltage=9.5
Travel speed=3.2 inch/minute
can you please put these in the formula?
