Re: [MW:35452] Piping Butt weld joint resting on support

As per international standards:

ASME B31.3 (Clause 321.1.2, 321.1.3) – Piping joints should not rest on supports to prevent undue stress and allow inspection.

ASME B31.1 (Clause 114.3, 120.1) – Supports must not interfere with expansion or place stress on joints.

API 570 – Ensures accessibility for inspection and maintenance.

MSS SP-58 – Recommends support placement away from joints.
