I suppose this is a structural material. Rerolling does not reduce the Material Thickness and it is done to obtain uniform curvature and does not induce any stresses. In structural material, even Flame straightening below 600 deg C is permitted.
Just for a precaution, you can have the L-seam RT tested after rerolling.

Dear Expert,
During a site observation, a subcontractor's carbon steel shell (EH36, thickness 40 mm) was found re-rolled due to ovality after 100% of the NDT(UT&MPI) long seam welds. Many stresses come and grain boundaries are stretched after rolling such a thick joint.Any experts please advise.
Standard - DNV-OSC -401
Construction specifications - AWS D1.1
Thanks & Regards
Rajesh
