Re: [MW:32797] Welding details

Well let's start by saying hell-o.  My name is Ed.  I've  been welding and designing and fabricating
for roughly 60 years.  In my shop, when a customer comes to see me, I generally lead them around let them look and ask questions about everything
and anything.  After completing our walk, I  will let them visit with my staff and ask questions also.
We've been pleased when they come and tell me, it's mostly about the " welds "
and how well laid out they are.  You see, my customer 's say, how do they do what they do so easily and like a robot completed the job?
It's  because I care and they know what I'm looking for in their work.
#1 - a beautiful row of dimes
#2 - no under cut or lumps either side
#3 - start and end of each bead, flat, vertical, horizontal,  then Tinsley strength, and Yeald strength, of all position welds must look the same.
***Anyone***has an equal chance in my shop, but what leaves here has my name on the job, or you don't work with me.
**Bottom Line**
If it doesn't Look good it's usually not good.  There are a few times where a Weld can be hidden also, but not here.  If you have standards for yourself, apply those standards to your people and you should be successful  and your welds and customers will be Safe and extremely
Pleased.  Have fun, enjoy what you do and fabricate
like there's no tomorrow.
