You can use this formula…Please convert first your travel speed.

 

HI =

HI = Heat Input (Kj/mm)

Ts = Travel Speed (mm/Min)

I = Amperage (Amp)

V = Voltage (Volt)

how to calculate the heat input in KJ/mm if i have got the folowing parameters?
 
Amperage=71
Voltage=9.5
Travel speed=3.2 inch/minute
can you please put these in the formula?
