[MW:6072] QUALIFICATION OF WELDERS BY PRODUCTION WELDING AS PER AWS D1.1

As per D1.1 clause 4.19.1.1, welding operator may be qualified by taking RT on production welding,

Please clarify if welders also can be qualified in the same way with reference to clause?
