[MW:768] Re: A234 WPB & WPBW

Dear Mr. Rushabh,

I understand that in SA 234, for WPB there are two method of construction.

Seamless - WPB

Welded - WPBW

Is it possible to get Fittings above 16'' as Seamless Construction?

I have to procure a 36'' EQUAL TEE and 36'' x 24'' RED TEE. All the vendors are offering Welded Construction, but the Client prefers Seamless. Am I right at the statement that, all fittings above 16'' are Welded Construction only.

AM I RIGHT…..?

Kindly advice me…

Thank you,

Regards,

Dear Sabir,
Please refer page No.385 of Sec II Part - A (A234).

WPBW is mandatory Marking on the fittings. So the requirements are met
as per A234.

If there is still problem please reply to this.
