I did a procedure qualification with a 4" pipe and 150 mm plate in 5F position, as per ASME Sec IX QW-451.3 he is qualified to weld all base metal thickness and all diameters.
But for WPQT, he is qualified only for 73 mm and above pipes, does that mean i have to make another performance test for 1/2" and 1" pipes separate are is he qualified to do all size of pipes.
Kindly Clarify.
Regards,
Saravanan S.
